The Division of Evangelization and Catechesis provides leadership and services in developing effective approaches to evangelization, religious education, family catechesis, marriage preparation and marriage enrichment.
Services are provided in the following areas: Catechist Formation and Certification; Sacramental Preparation for Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation and Matrimony; Religious Education Programs for Children and Adults; Religion in Catholic Schools; Special Religious Education (SPRED); Deaf Ministry; Religious Education Committees; Directors, Coordinators and Administrators of Religious Education; Family-Oriented Catechesis; Evangelization; Adult Education Training; Scripture Study; RCIA Teams; Marriage preparation (Pre-Cana, Engaged Encounter, Sponsor-Couple and Re-Marriage Preparation Programs and Marriage Enrichment, World Marriage Day); Collaboration with groups who minister with those who are separated, divorced or widowed.
